Amber Gardner started her career in interior design in 1997 working as a tile and flooring designer at a local retail showroom. She quickly realized that design was her passion and moved to California in 1998 and attended the Interior Designers Institute. Upon returning to the Kansas City area, she again worked in flooring design until 2000, when she was given the opportunity to complete her first interior design job Timberstone Homes, which garnered rave reviews and was awarded Home of the Year by Kansas City Homes and Gardens.
She was then hired Evan Talan Homes as the exclusive designer for their projects, making selections on every aspect of design including color, tile, cabinetry, faux, window treatments and furniture.
As business continued to grow, Amber and Kendra partnered to form Muse Furniture & Lifestyle Designs. Muse has recently opened a retail location at Trendz Market in Ironhorse Shopping Center featuring their most recent furniture line, Haute House. This partnership has allowed them to expand their business while still providing customized, unique interior design work and home furnishings while still providing exceptional customer service.
Amber lives in Lee’s Summit where her and her husband, Gary, recently remodeled their home in the country. They enjoy spending time outside on their land, riding four-wheelers, gardening and playing with their dogs. Amber also enjoys spending time, with her family and especially watching her niece and nephew grow up.
